"I'm not a terribly complex person. I say exactly what I mean and never have a hidden agenda,"-Said no woman ever.
I'm 21 years old, but I'm really like 80. I don't go out and party, I've never been to a club, and I can't keep up with young people slang.
My parents taught me to read at a young age, and I've been in love with books ever since. Boyfriend knows that he will someday be building me a library. He doesn't quite get it, but he gets it enough. He thinks it's interesting that I can get so upset over something that's happening in a book I'm reading, and knows if he asks me about it, he's going to be listening for a while so I can recap EVERYTHING that's happening and why I'm bothered by it.
I'm in many fandoms. I'm a whovian, a brony (I don't remember what the girl version is, and I don't think I'd like it anyways), a pinenut, cumberbitch, and way many more. I watch anime, worship J-Law, and think Jesse from New Girl is even more socially inept than myself. My sister and I cosplay, and boyfriend gets dragged along for security purposes. It's excellent fun.
I'm a Disney freak. It's my moms fault. She started it.
Me and boyfriend have been together nearly 4 years, living together for a little over a year. We have our ups and downs, but ultimately I adore him. Which frankly, I think is awesome. If you still adore someone after 4 years, that's pretty great. He's all cars, all the time. I like to think I'm a bit of a car buff myself, thanks to him. I can recognize basic cars, I know how to tell if a Mustang is a v8 or a v6 just based on the exhaust (talent, I know). But mostly I just like to wear my dirty jeans, carhartt and pretend I'm helping. Until it gets cold outside. Then I wanna go back inside and stop being a cool car-loving girlfriend.
I'm a full time college student, going for Psychiatry. I'm a pretty good student, A-B average. Math sucks, Science sucks, which is unfortunate since I'm a science major. Womp-womp. Funny how life works like that.
I try and be healthy most of the time. I was around 140, my heaviest, senior year. Since then, I have tried basically everything diet-wise. Pills, powders, drinks, you name it. I learned that pills make you sick, powders taste powdery, and a drink is not a meal. Since then, with regular exercise and a good, healthy diet, I stay around 120-130, depending on how hectic my schedule gets.
I've been very blessed with a wonderful family and support system. My family and friends have always supported me through my many crazy business ventures and project, and I love them dearly for that.
My goal through this blog is to open up a new world with tips, tricks, recipes and DIY's. To share with you the ups and downs that come with being a live-in girlfriend. To help you know that anything is possible if you try hard enough. We live in a very different world these days. It's common to get pregnant first, and married later (if at all). It's easier to drop out of college and rely on welfare than it is to pull those all nighters. And last but not least, it's scary to move in with someone. But it's all do-able. Every goal is achievable. You just gotta work.
xoxo
